Telstra refunds customers after it issued inaccurate bills An investigation conducted by the Australian Communications and Media Authority revealed that telecommunications provider Telstra has refunded more than $1.73 million and paid a $506,160 infringement notice after it overcharged thousands of its customers. Telstra self-reported the errors between July 2018 and October 2021 to the ACMA and independently committed to issue refunds.
