Alex Antunes develops educational uses for picosatellite technology as an Associate Professor at Capitol Technology University, a not-for-profit technical and business small university in Maryland, USA.  His doctorate is in computational astrophysics, and his primary area of expertise is design, software and integration for small-scale and rapid development space-based projects.  He also writes on DIY satellite building at ProjectCalliope.com and for Maker Media, and does crossover work in the game industry.
