This is a last opportunity to contribute your views and comments to the TelSoc survey on the proposed data retention laws.

TelSoc is conducting a survey of its members and followers to gauge the level of support or otherwise of Australian Government's proposed data retention bill.

A joint review of ICT statistics by the ABS and the Department of Communications (Bureau of Communications Research) was announced on 16 January 2015. Submissions close 27 February.

You have probably already seen on the TelSoc website that we have an exciting Charles Todd Oration on November 5th.

The main event is in Sydney at Doltone House, but there are simultaneous events in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane with a live-feed of the proceedings.

Members and non-members are welcome to come to the Panel discussion on the NBN by Bob James and Gary McLaren in Melbourne on Tuesday 28 October. It will be preceded by the TelSoc AGM at 11.45am, the panel event starting at 12.30pm.
