Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy

December Bumper Issue

The December 2016 issue attracted 12 papers from a number of countries around the world and everyone should find the papers to be interesting reading. Download the entire issue as a PDF and read the papers on the train or bus in coming days! If you're still enjoying the holidays get into the swing of things by reading the issue on the beach or sitting on a hill top! Don't forget to provide feedback and link to the papers on Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter.

In coming months we will be seeking more papers from around the world as we attempt to do complete a clean sweep of all the nations and to find out what is happening with telecommunications and mobile cellular in different markets. There are interesting things happening in other countries and it is often quite fascinating to read about improvements being made overseas. Should the New Zealand FTTP ultra fast broadband network be mentioned at this point? Unlimited downloads, low latency and FTTP - what more could the Kiwis want? Time we found out what's happening around the world!

So how can you help? If you've got a contact overseas, ask them to submit a paper on the telecommunications or mobile cellular situation in their country. We're here to help if there are any questions on how to prepare the paper and to submit it to the AJTDE.

Scopus Update

After confirmation the Journal would return to Scopus, we've had to be patient whilst this happens. With the help of Elsevier Australia the Journal should be returning to the Scopus source list in coming weeks. Thank you Elsevier Australia! Returning to Scopus is a big step for the Journal and it is time to start including Journal papers as references. It is important to link to papers as well, as in this digital age everything counts when it comes to impact factor and ranking. As soon as we have returned to Scopus the ranking and details will be added to the Journal home page, so look for this soon!
